History:

Barb's #1 Embroidery has been in business since 1998.  Formerly known as Barb's Sewing Creations, the name was changed to Barb's Embroidery, in 2000, to relate to the change in the activities of the business.  This had to be changed to Barb's #1 Embroidery, in 2002, due to other embroiderers using the same business name.  At first, the business was involved in the manufacture and alterations of clothing.  A small sewing machine-type embroidering machine was first used to try computerized embroidering. When orders became so great a larger industrial machine had to be purchased to keep up with the demand. A second industrial machine was purchased, in August of 2003, to maintain the on-time supply of embroidered items to every customer, large or small. A 38 X 30 storefront was added during Barb's 10th anniversary year to display retail items to better serve the public.

Barb's Mission:

To provide fair-priced, computer designed, embroidered objects to businesses, schools, sports teams, towns, firefighters and the general public.
